 World Predator Classic 2019

The World Predator Classic is a large predator (pike, perch, zander) competition and, together with Predatortour, the most important event of its kind in Europe. The 6th event (June 2019) was won by the Czech team of Radek Filip and Martin Štěpka sponsored by Westin. It took place in and around Hellevoetsluis on Haringvliet dam and Hollands Diep (approximately 12 000 hectare water) . The location offers one of the best large pike and zander fishing as well. There have been some of the best European anglers in the starting field:  Enrico di Ventura, Luc Coppens, Jeremy Staverman, Timo Ruff, Frederic Jullian, Marcel Asbroek, Nils Gabsa, Frank Bussmaeyer and many others. A 51cm perch was caught by Jerzy Gancarz. Jussi Jokinen caught a 84cm zander and Jelle De Jong a 118cm pike! The event is strictly ‘catch and release’ and the prizes were high, including a Nitro boat and two trips to join the Angling Super Cup Launch in Florida!
